BEYOND FRONTIERS

Beyond Frontiers is an immersive experience presented by Nico de Transilvania, bringing together film, music, the sounds of nature, and tradition.

The event begins with a sonic journey through the natural landscapes surrounding Oradea, featuring field recordings made in the summer of 2026, and continues with a cinematic trilogy filmed across three countries: Romania, Bulgaria, and the United Kingdom. Three stories about places, people, and traditions, united by a shared concern for nature, music, and heritage.

• WINGS OVER MOUNTAINS (14 min) - dedicated to Bulgaria

• ENCHANTING FOREST (20 min) - a journey into the forests of the United Kingdom

Together, the three films create a dialogue between communities and territories across borders, exploring how art can inspire the restoration of nature and cultural heritage.

The evening concludes with a Q&A with Nico de Transilvania, a Romanian artist and producer based in the UK and founder of Forests Without Frontiers (FWF), an organization she established in 2019 to support the regeneration of nature through music and the arts.
