Duration: 110 minutes

Year: 1984

The screening of the film 1984 will be preceded by a musical introduction by Eleonora Roșca (voice and cello) and Maatus Pealler (synth), meant to immerse the audience in the film’s dystopian universe. Blending themes from the original soundtrack with contemporary music interventions and unsettling sound textures, the two artists create an atmosphere that oscillates between nostalgia and unease, between fragments of recognizable humanity and the oppressive tension of a totalitarian world.

In a totalitarian society, Winston Smith is tasked with rewriting history, but he chooses to rebel. He meets Julia, a woman who also dreams of a better future, yet soon the two lovers realize that happiness cannot exist in such a world.

At this moment, we do not have any future performances scheduled.
